The Bush administration of the United States has demanded immunity for US citizens from prosecution for war crimes. An International Criminal Court (ICC) has been set up by the United Nations to bring individuals to justice who have been involved in genocide and similar war crimes and who live in nations without the ability or desire to bring them to justice. 7-02
